'I Love You' Balloons Seen Hanging In Raja-Sonam Raghuvanshi's Bedroom: Watch

Meghalaya Honeymoon Case: The visuals from the bedroom have added another layer of emotional weight to a case that has captured national headlines.

Days after the shocking murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, remnants of his newlywed life with wife Sonam still remain untouched inside his Indore home. The couple’s bedroom, located on the second floor of Raja's house, continues to be decorated just as it was post their wedding.

Red heart-shaped balloons, streamers, and decorative ribbons still hang from the walls, evoking a stark contrast to the grim reality of the case that has since unfolded. On the wall behind the bed, the words “I Love You” are clearly visible, surrounded by romantic decor.

The visuals from the bedroom have added another layer of emotional weight to a case that has captured national headlines. Raja
(29) and Sonam (25) had tied the knot on May 11 in Indore and left for their honeymoon in Meghalaya on May 20.

Just days later, on June 2, Raja’s body was found, and Sonam, along with four others including her alleged lover, was arrested in connection with his murder.

Sonam's Mangalsutra Was Left In Homestay

The couple had left their suitcase at a homestay in Sohra before going missing, and the 'mangalsutra' and a ring found in it helped investigators crack the case, Meghalaya's Director General of Police (DGP) I Nongrang said.

Both of them went missing on May 23 in Sohra in East Khasi Hills district, hours after checking out of a homestay.

"We recovered Sonam's 'mangalsutra' and a ring from the suitcase the couple abandoned at a homestay in Sohra. A married woman leaving behind the ornaments gave us a clue to pursue her as a suspect in the case," DGP Nongrang told PTI.

The couple walked into the homestay in Sohra on May 22 without any prior booking.
