In a heart-wrenching incident, a 37-year-old woman died of cardiac arrest at her son's birthday party in a hotel in Vapi town of Gujarat, according to her family members and hotel staff. The family had hosted a birthday party for the five-year-old son on Saturday (September 14) when the incident took place. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera of the hotel and has gone viral on social media.

The deceased has been identified as Yaminiben Barot, a resident of Chharwada area in Vapi.

The CCTV footage shows people gathered to celebrate the boy's birthday at the Royal Shelter Hotel in Valsad. The woman was standing on a stage holding her son in her arms, while the relatives were seen dancing and enjoying. A few moments later,  Yaminiben hands over her son to her husband Dhaval Barot, who was standing on the stage as well.

She then walks on the stage while holding her head. Minutes before she collapsed, she displayed no signs of fatigue even while moving near the stage and carrying her son in her arms.

Shortly after checking her forehead, she can be seen trying to grab her husband's shoulder before collapsing on the floor. The family members gathered there can be seen rushing to help her on the stage.

Hotel manager Mohammad Amin confirmed that the incident took place on Saturday, news agency PTI reported. He said that the woman was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.

"The couple had hosted a birthday party in the banquet hall to mark their son's fifth birthday. Before lunch was served, the woman suddenly collapsed on the floor. She was rushed to a nearby hospital by her relatives. We learnt later on that she died of cardiac arrest," Amin told PTI.
