A Tata Harrier car caught fire near Gaur Chowk in the Bisrakh Kotwali area on Monday evening. The driver escaped the incident but the car was burnt to ashes.

A moving car caught fire near Gaur Chowk in the Bisrakh Kotwali area on Monday evening. The driver somehow managed to save himself by jumping out.
On receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade vehicle reached the spot, but by then the car had burnt to ashes. According to information received from the Bisrakh Kotwali police, the car, a Tata Harrier, was reported to have caught fire near Gaur City Chowk on Monday evening.

The fire department was immediately informed about the fire in the car. A fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and controlled the fire.
According to the police, there was no loss of life in the incident, which occurred during peak traffic hours. The cause of the fire is believed to have been a short circuit. The matter is being investigated by the police.
LPG Truck On Fire
Last month, a truck carrying 60 LPG cylinders caught fire in Ghaziabad near the Bhopura Chowk on Delhi-Wazirabad Road. Some of the cylinders even burst with the explosions being heard several kilometres away.
Several vehicles and furniture shops in the vicinity were also damaged in the incident as the fire spread.
