Kapil Mishra To Manjinder Sirsa: BJP MLAs Likely To Be Sworn In As Ministers In Delhi Cabinet
Rekha Gupta will be sworn in as Delhi Chief Minister on Thursday at Ramlila Maidan.

The stage is set for the grand oath-taking ceremony of the new Delhi chief minister at the Ramlila Maidan on Thursday. BJP MLA from Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency, Rekha Gupta has been named the chief minister who will take the oath on Thursday.
Apart from Gupta, BJP MLA Parvesh Verma is likely to take the oath of Deputy Chief Minister. Verma, who defeated Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi assembly constituency is also likely to take oath as cabinet minister along with four other legislators.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa (Rajouri Garden), Ravinder Inder Raj (Bawana-SC), Kapil Mishra (Karawal Nagar), Ashish Sood (Janakpuri), and Pankaj Singh (Vikaspuri) are the other BJP MLAs who are likely to be sworn in as the ministers in the Rekha Gupta-led cabinet in the national capital.
The ceremony is expected to take place at around noon at the sprawling ground in the heart of the national capital.

Over 25,000 security personnel will be deployed in the central, north, and New Delhi areas of the city ahead of the oath-taking ceremony. "More than 25,000 police personnel and over 15 companies of paramilitary forces will keep a strict vigil," said an official, reported PTI.
"According to the security plan, more than 5,000 police personnel, along with paramilitary will be deployed in and around the Ramlila Maidan. We have identified more than 2,500 strategic points where heavy deployment will be ensured," he added.
The Delhi Police has been preparing for the event for the last two days, Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Ravindra Yadav told PTI. "Delhi Commissioner of Police Sanjay Arora visited the venue this morning. He personally reviewed the preparations. We are sure that we will manage the event smoothly," said the Special CP Yadav.
