Marico's Founder Harsh Mariwala Shares Significance Of Brainstorming With Peers
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on a Thursday, Mariwala articulated how brainstorming serves as an effective means of shaping one's trajectory, ultimately enhancing the probability of achieving success
Harsh Mariwala, the founder of Marico, recently discussed the significance of engaging in brainstorming sessions with peers and mentors, emphasising how such collaborative efforts aid in recognising one's innate talents and strengths. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on a Thursday, Mariwala articulated how brainstorming serves as an effective means of shaping one's trajectory, ultimately enhancing the probability of achieving success.
"All of us are born with God-given gifts which, more often than not, we are not conscious of. Brainstorming with peers and mentors helps identify our natural gifts. And then mould your future based on your leanings and strengths, whereby your chances of success would be higher," the founder wrote in his post on X.

Mariwala's post elicited responses from several users, with a portion agreeing with his perspectives.
One user wrote, “Absolutely, Harsh! Recognising and honing our innate talents through collaborative brainstorming is key. By aligning our paths with our strengths, we not only enhance our success but also our fulfillment. #HarshRealities.”
“The biggest hurdle in philanthropy is ego. Aspiring philanthropists must leave their ego at the door. Often, personal pride, ownership, or the desire for recognition can get in the way. Focus on the cause, not on yourself,” added another.
A third user, “Ok u may be right but what do u do when your peers agree to yr view point but yr boss/so called mentor rubbish it? & Then later on takes the credit in front of the top management projecting it was his idea? Any solution to that?”
Talking about friends and the importance of friendship, another X user wrote, “#Happiness is to have selective, few of those precious friends and family who stand by u in both your success & failures. If someone chooses only happy times, they are really not invested in you so choose the company wisely. #Quality over #quantity #Friendship."
