Bybit Türkiye Launches TRY Trading Pairs, Enhancing Crypto Accessibility for Turkish Users

Bybit Türkiye continues to focus on localisation efforts, aiming to build a strong and vibrant community by catering to the specific needs of Turkish users.

Bybit Türkiye, the regional partner of global crypto platform Bybit.com, has introduced trading pairs with the Turkish Lira (TRY) on its spot market, marking a significant milestone for the Turkish crypto community. Starting August 30, 2024, Bybit Türkiye users gained the ability to trade TRY directly against leading cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT). This new offering simplifies the trading process by allowing transactions in the local currency, removing the previous need for conversions from other fiat currencies such as USD and EUR.

Bybit Türkiye’s latest initiative aligns with its broader strategy to enhance user experience and deepen its connection with the local market following a recent rebranding. The launch included the rollout of three trading pairs: USDT/TRY went live at 8:00 am UTC (1:30 pm IST), followed by BTC/TRY at 8:30 am (2:00 pm IST), and ETH/TRY at 9:00 am UTC (2:30 pm IST).

Bybit Expands In Europe

The announcement comes shortly after Bybit’s expansion in Europe, with a new office in Amsterdam that opened on August 22, 2024, in collaboration with SATOS. This reflects the company’s commitment to growing its presence and accessibility in multiple regions.

Kutluhan Akçın, Bybit’s Turkey Country Manager, emphasised the importance of this launch, stating, "We are excited to offer TRY trading pairs to our users in Turkey. This development demonstrates our dedication to meeting local demands and providing an accessible platform for Turkish users to engage with the global crypto market."

Bybit Türkiye continues to focus on localisation efforts, aiming to build a strong and vibrant community by catering to the specific needs of Turkish users. The introduction of TRY trading pairs is seen as a step forward in making cryptocurrency trading more accessible and efficient for the growing base of crypto enthusiasts in Türkiye.
