Coronavirus: PM Modi Thanks Mukesh & Nita Ambani For Reliance Industries' Contribution To PM-CARES Fund
Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) have taken many initiatives to ensure that the nation remains strong in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday thanked Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani for the contribution by Reliance Industries towards PM CARES fund in the battle against Coronavirus pandemic.
"The entire Reliance team has been making effective contributions in the fight against COVID-19. Be it in healthcare or assisting people, they have been active. I thank Mukesh and Nita Ambani Ji for contributing to PM-CARES and for their other work towards defeating Coronavirus," PM Modi tweeted.
PM Modi also thanked people from all quarters of life, including businessmen, film stars and sportsmen, who extended their support to the government.
Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) on Monday, announced a donation of Rs. 500 crore to PM CARES Fund to help the government in fight against the deadly and fast-spreading COVID-19. RIL also said in a statement that in addition to the donation, in response to PM Modi's call, the company have taken many initiatives to ensure that the nation remains strong in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
