Budget 2023: Know Date, Time & Where To Watch Sitharaman's 5th Budget Speech

The finance minister's Budget presentation for the fiscal year 2023-2024 will be live-streamed on Sansad TV and Doodarshan. The live telecast will also be available on their YouTube channels.

Budget 2023 LIVE Streaming: All eyes are set on the Narendra Modi-led government's Union Budget presentation for the year 2023 which would be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This will be Sitharaman's fifth Budget and the last Budget before the general elections in 2024. It is expected that the Budget 2023 will find issues of income tax, employment, infrastructure, farming, and the rural economy taking a centre stage.

The government on Tuesday presented Economic Survey 2023 on the first day of the Budget session of the Parliament. Like the previous two, Union Budget 2023-24 will also be delivered in paperless form.

This year the Budget will be announced at a time when the global economy is reeling under recessionary pressure and most of the major economies are witnessing a slowdown. The Budget will be widely watched as Sitharaman is expected to announce measures that will aid GDP growth and ensure that India continues to be one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

Where and When to watch?

The FM's Budget speech will begin at 11 am on February 1. Sitharaman in her 2022-23 Union Budget speech took around 92 minutes, which is considered her shortest speech so far. In 2020, the FM delivered the longest speech as she went on to speak for almost 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Sitharaman's Budget presentation for the fiscal year 2023-2024 will be live-streamed on Sansad TV and Doodarshan. The live telecast will also be available on their Youtube channels. Press Information Bureau (PIB) will also stream Budget 2023 on their online platforms.
