Here is a detailed look at the new Honda Amaze which has just been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 8 lakh.

The new Amaze has a length of 3995mm while its ground clearance is 172mm, followed by a 416l boot.

The compact sedan comes with 3 trim levels- V, VX and ZX

The engine is an E2O compliant 4 cylinder 1.2l petrol engine with 90ps and 110Nm.

There are two gearbox options- a standard 5 speed manual with a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl while there is also a CVT automatic with paddle shifters with a claimed efficiency of 19.46 kmpl.

If we look at the styling, the new Amaze has a flag pattern grille with chrome while it has LED projector headlamps with DRLs and turn indicators. There are also LED projector fog lamps.

The rear has LED taillamps, shark fin antenna, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and power-adjustable ORVMs

The interiors have a beige and black two tone combination with all seat headrests, a floating 8inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, push button start/stop, PM 2.5 air filter, automatic climate control, rear ac vents, remote engine start via key fob and a rear armrest. The Honda Lane watch technology borrowed from more expensive Honda cars also makes its way here.

There is also connected car technology with ADAS also which is the Honda Sensing technology. The ADAS features include collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lead car departure notification, auto high beam and more.

Standard, there are also 6 airbags, ESC, etc.
