Maruti Suzuki Invicto: Bookings Start For Upcoming MPV With Rs 20 Lakh Starting Price

This is a new territory for Maruti Suzuki and is their first product that will cross Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom while the focus would be on families which need a large but feature-packed premium MPV

Maruti Suzuki has started bookings for its upcoming premium MPV, Invicto. The Invicto would be its most premium product and bookings have been started at Rs 25,000. The Invicto is the Maruti Suzuki version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and will be launched on July 5. It will be retailed via the Nexa showrooms and will be the most expensive Maruti Suzuki in India with prices being expected to just begin below Rs 20 lakh. Like the Innova Hycross, the Invicto will be offered a strong hybrid version that will bring in benefits of fuel efficiency along with being the most powerful car that Maruti Suzuki will sell in India.

The strong hybrid version could also touch Rs 30 lakh in terms of its price being the top-end version. However, the Invicto could be offered with a different trim configuration over the Innova Hycross to make it stand out.

The Invicto is also aimed at making the Nexa brand more premium and bringing in new customers into its fold. The Invicto will get styling changes over the Innova Hycross with the grille along with the headlamp design while elsewhere things will stay the same in terms of specifications.

This is a new territory for Maruti Suzuki and is their first product that will cross Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom while the focus would be on families which need a large but feature-packed premium MPV along with the feature of hybrid technology.

The Invicto will compete with other premium three-row SUVs within the Rs 15-30 lakh space. We will have more details of the Invicto leading up to it's launch in July and it will be interesting to see the supply of the cars considering the Innova Hycross has a long waiting list already.
