Mahindra BE 6 And XEV 9E Electric SUVs: When Can You Book These Cars?

The newest electric cars from Mahindra were unveiled recently and after driving them, they did impress, particularly the BE 6. The XEV 9E has been launched at Rs 21.90 lakh while the BE 6, which got a name change, has been launched at Rs 18.9 lakh. These are based on the INGLO architecture which is a bespoke electric platform which these two EVs have.

Expected Booking Time

Bookings are expected to start from January of 2025 while the first deliveries will start at the end of February or March 2025. Mahindra also claims that it will have relationship managers for the charging and specialists from luxury and premium brands which would provide a drive experience. The exact date for bookings commencement will be announced along with the booking amount.

Battery Details

The electric cars from Mahindra have a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh battery pack on offer while the XEV 9E is the larger EV while the BE 6 is compact SUV sized. The introductory price however does not include the two charger options of 7.3 kWh and 11.2 kWh which will be made available on chargeable basis. If you look at range, the BE 6 has a range figure of 682 km while the larger XEV 9E has a range figure of 656 km. This is for the 79kWh battery pack version.

Both EVs are fast charging compliant while having features like in-built apps, OTA updates, selfie camera, ADAS level 2, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, Augmented-reality Heads Up Display (HUD) and more.
