Ayodhya Ram Mandir: The magnificent temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya holds special significance for devotees of Sanatan Dharma. Now, there is less than a month left for the inauguration of the temple and the consecration of Ramlala. Recently, Champat Rai, the Secretary-General of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, showed the map of the Ram Temple, detailing the number of steps to climb for Lord Shri Ram, the direction of entry and exit gates, and more.

Number of Steps to Climb for Darshan of Ramlala:

Champat Rai mentioned that devotees will have to climb 32 steps for the darshan of Lord Ramlala. After climbing these 32 steps, devotees will reach the main sanctum. However, provision for a lift will be available in the western part of the temple for differently-abled individuals.

Entry from the East and Exit towards the South:

While showcasing the temple map, Rai explained that devotees will enter the Ram Temple from the east and, after having the darshan of the deity, they will be escorted out towards the south. Additionally, the temple will have 44 separate entrances. In the 70-acre land of the Ramlala complex, temples dedicated to their gurus will also be constructed. Along with that, temples for Mata Sabri and Ahilyabai will be built. However, this process will commence after the main temple construction is completed.

Key Details about Ayodhya Ram Mandir:

  • The temple, spread across 70 acres, will have three floors. Each floor will be 20 feet in height.
  • Within the temple complex, there will be temples dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabri, and Devi Ahilya.
  • Approximately 70% of the 70-acre land in the temple complex will be covered with lush greenery, including trees that are over a century old.
