    This fast is observed by mothers for the protection and well-being of their children. It is believed to help those struggling with conception.
  • September 26, 2024 (Thursday): Guru Pushya Yoga
    On this auspicious day, purchasing gold, silver, vehicles, and property is considered highly favorable. However, since it falls during Pitru Paksha, buying auspicious items should be avoided.
  • September 28, 2024 (Saturday): Indira Ekadashi
    Observing Indira Ekadashi fast is believed to liberate the souls of ancestors from seven generations.

It is said that on this night, the moon’s rays shower nectar, and hence, it is customary to leave kheer (a rice pudding) under the open sky to imbue it with the nectar’s qualities.
