If Rohini Nakshatra falls on Akshaya Tritiya, its significance increases thousandfold. This year, on May 10, 2024, Rohini Nakshatra will be present from 10:47 in the morning. On this day, auspicious activities like marriage, buying gold and silver, and starting new ventures can be undertaken without considering any muhurat.

• It was on Akshaya Tritiya that the Treta Yuga began, which lasted for 12,96,000 years. In this era, Lord Vishnu incarnated as Vamana, Parashurama, and Rama. Today marks the opening of the Badrinath temple.
