'Alerted By Apple..': TDP National General Secy Nara Lokesh Alleges 'State-Sponsored' Phone Tapping
In this regard, Telugu Desam Party leader K Ravindra Kumar also wrote to Chief Election Commissioner demanding action on those who tapped phone of Nara Lokesh.
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh stated that he was alerted by Apple--mobile manufacturing company--about a second attempt to tap his phone by agencies. He alleged that the alert indicated clear evidence of state agencies attempting to tap their phones. He, however, emphasised that it was not new as they have raised concerns before.
On the alleged phone-tapping incident, TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh said, "I was alerted by Apple that this was the second attempt to tap my phone by agencies. So, there is clear evidence that the state agency is trying to tap our phones. And this is nothing new, in the past also we have raised many red flags and this is something we will take very seriously."
"I have already complained to the state and the central Election Commission... This is a grave danger to democracy... This government is filing false cases and trying to hack our phones... TDP will fight this all the way," he said.
