TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu Moves SC For Relief In Skill Development Scam Case
On Friday, a Vijayawada court granted custody of Chandrababu Naidu to the CID for two days.
TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu moved the Supreme Court on Saturday challenging the Andhra Pradesh High Court order dismissing the petition seeking to quash FIR against him in connection with the alleged Skill Development Corporation scam. Andhra Pradesh HC on Friday rejected his plea stating that it cannot interfere when the probe was on the fulcrum of attaining finality.

Earlier, TDP state president K Atchen Naidu said the legal wing of the party will approach the Supreme Court against the HC order.
In a press release, Atchen Naidu told PTI, "The legal wing of the TDP is going through the court judgment in detail and the party will certainly knock on the doors of the higher court to seek justice."
Despite the adverse judgment in the court, he vowed that TDP would move ahead and continue its fight against the alleged atrocious rule of Reddy, the report said.
Meanwhile, a team of Andhra Pradesh Police CID officials started questioning TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday at Rajamahendravaram Central Prison. The questioning is permitted on both days (September 23 and 24) from 9.30 am to 5 pm in connection with the alleged Skill Development Corporation corruption case.
On September 9, Naidu was detained for allegedly misappropriating funds from the Skill Development Corporation, causing an alleged loss to the state exchequer of more than Rs 300 crore.
