Suspended YSRCP MLA Undavalli Sridevi Alleges Threat To Her Life From Party Leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy
Sridevi is one of four MLAs who were suspended from the YSRCP on March 24 for voting for a candidate from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during the Legislative Council elections.
Undavalli Sridevi, a suspended MLA from the YSRCP Tadikonda, has claimed that she is in danger and alleged that there is a threat to her life from the party's general secretary and Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. Sridevi spoke to the press in Hyderabad on Sunday and expressed her disappointment that even a female MLA has no protection in Andhra Pradesh. She plans to file a complaint with the National Scheduled Caste Commission regarding Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
Sridevi is one of four MLAs who were suspended from the YSRCP on March 24 for voting for a candidate from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during the Legislative Council elections. The TDP won one of the seven council seats due to the cross-voting of the four rebel MLAs.

Sridevi alleges that her office in the Tadikonda constituency in the Guntur district was attacked by YSRCP cadres on Saturday. She claims that YSRCP leaders have made indecent allegations against her, particularly since she is a female MLA.
Sridevi alleges that the YSRCP used her for four years before discarding her, citing MLC elections as the reason. She claims that they are plotting to eliminate her from the capital region of Amaravati. Sridevi is prepared to give her life for the cause of Amaravati farmers.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Industries Gudivada Amarnath has criticized Sridevi for her allegations against the YSRCP party. He says that they are sceptical of Sridevi, who engaged in cross-voting during the MLC election. He alleges that Sridevi accepted a large sum of money and voted for the TDP candidate.
