Chandrababu Naidu accused authorities of removing the names of TDP and Janasena supporters from the voters' list and urged youth to register for their voting rights and verify their status regularly

Ruling YSRCP was 'finished' the day TDP and Janasena announced an alliance, Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said on Wednesday. The TDP chief also expressed his confidence that the alliance will trounce YSRCP in the upcoming elections. He termed the alliance as "political marriage of TDP and Janasena".

Addressing a gathering convened to commence the culmination of Yuva Galam padayatra of his son and party general secretary Nara Lokesh, TDP supremo said, "Janasena and TDP's alliance is historic. The day this alliance was announced Jagan's cinema (political prospects) was over. That's why he is pressing the panic button. With my 40 years' experience, I will develop Andhra Pradesh in the next five years like no other."

According to the opposition leader, Reddy's era has come to an end, and the defeat of YSRCP in the upcoming elections has been predetermined by the people. The former chief minister addressed various segments of society, making several promises, including free bus travel for women, the creation of 20 lakh jobs in five years, financial assistance for the unemployed, distribution of three free gas cylinders, ensuring drinking water for every family, and more, contingent on the alliance winning the elections.

He accused the authorities of removing the names of TDP and Janasena supporters from the voters' list and urged the youth to register for their voting rights and verify their status regularly. Naidu announced plans for two more significant gatherings, one in Amaravati, and the release of a joint TDP-Janasena manifesto.

Lokesh emphasized that, upon assuming power, the TDP would implement schemes such as providing Rs 1,500 per month to women over 18 through the 'Mahashakti' initiative and offering financial aid to unemployed individuals under the Yuvagalam Nidhi scheme, among other commitments. He appealed to the public to grant the TDP-Janasena alliance 160 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the forthcoming elections for the state's development.
