BJP Releases Candidates List For Legislative Council Elections Of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
The Election Commission announced that the notification for these biennial elections would be issued on February 16 and nominations could be filed until February 23.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released a list of three candidates for the biennial election to the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh and one candidate for the biennial election to the Legislative Council of Telangana.

Earlier, the Election Commission announced that the notification for these biennial elections would be issued on February 16 and nominations could be filed until February 23. While the polling will be held on March 13, followed by the counting and announcement of results on March 16.
The election will be held for local bodies in the constituencies of Anantapur, Kadapa, Prakasam, Nellore, Srikakulam, Chittoor, Kurnool, Vizianagaram, and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, and Hyderabad in Telangana.

YSRCP Releases Candidates List
Andhra pradesh ruling YSRCP announced the list of candidates for the biennial election to the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
S. Sudhakar, Pernati Syma Prasad Reddy, and Vennapusa Ravindranath Reddy are contesting from the Graduates’ Constituency of North Andhra, East Rayalaseema, and West Rayalaseema districts, respectively.
Parvatareddy Chandrasekhara Reddy and MV Ramachandra Reddy are contesting as party-supported candidates from the teachers’ constituencies of East Rayalaseema and West Rayalaseema, respectively.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged all ministers, legislators, district party presidents, and regional coordinators to work together to ensure victory for party-backed candidates in the upcoming MLC elections for graduate and teacher constituencies.
