‘Learnt Art Of Speaking For Hours Without Answering Questions From PM Modi': TN CM Stalin
Ungalil Oruvan Answers: “There are several allegations being levelled against the Government and Prime Minister Modi. But the PM has not answered any," CM Stalin said.
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin gave answers to some of the questions as part of #UngalilOruvanAnswers (The one from you answers) on Tuesday.
The CM Stalin to the question on his views on PM Modi’s reply to the motion of thanks on president’s address said, “I learnt the art of how to speak for hours without answering anyone's questions.”
“There are several allegations being levelled against the Government and Prime Minister Modi. But the PM has not answered any. He says, 'The trust of people is a protective shield'. It is what he says. People do not think so,” he said.
CM Stalin said: “PM has said 'Mudslinging will help lotus bloom'. Lotus does grow in waterbodies. But it will not grow in places that contain water or mud. PM's address was full of rhetoric and did not have any explanation on BBC documentary of Adani issue.”
Stating that PM Modi did not answer pertinent questions posed by DMK members, the CM said, “PM did not list out what promises he delivered. Revival of Sethusamudram, NEET, interference of Governors, state right, withholding assent to Bill against Online gambling. DMK members have many such pertinent questions. The PM's reply had no answer to them. The PM did not have anything to say for Tamil Nadu in particular.”

To the question of whether Tamil Nadu was neglected from the budget, Stalin said, "Yes totally. The only project that they announced for Tamil Nadu was AIIMS, Madurai. They said they have sought funds from JIICA for its construction. They are yet to receive Japan's help. Has our Union government done something about it? No. Isn't it evident that they are neglecting Tamil Nadu in this case?"
