Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had urged YSRCP party leaders to take up the 'Gadapa Gadapaku' programme, aimed to gain public sway ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections. He had asked the leaders to visit villages and explain the state government's schemes, and how people had benefited from the ruling YSRCP's welfare schemes.
Andhra Chief Minister emphasized that during their visits, the leaders should also solve the people's problems, and funds would be sanctioned to villages and the ward secretariat.
To ensure the programme's effective implementation, Jagan has ordered the formation of committees that will supervise the programme in each district. 'Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam' is a programme spearheaded by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, aimed at improving the implementation of government welfare schemes and reaching out to people in the state.
