Andhra CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu Take Part In G20 Preparatory Meeting
CM Jagan said this was the time for the entire nation to come together to host the summit and not to make political comments that would tarnish the country’s image.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu expressed happiness over India hosting the G-20 summit in September next year.
Addressing the preparatory meeting for the G-20 summit held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to elicit opinions from all parties across the country, the Chief Minister stated that Andhra Pradesh is ready to take on any task assigned to it as part of G-20 preparation.
CM Jagan further said this was the time for the entire nation to come together to host the summit and not to make political comments that would tarnish the country’s image.
Meanwhile, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who also attended the meeting, emphasised the importance of digital literacy. Naidu stressed the need for preparing a vision document, at least for the next 25 years, for future generations to focus on digital knowledge. Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the TDP chief’s views and mentioned the need for preparing a vision document on this.

Chandrababu Naidu stated that "the best outcomes can be achieved only by combining human resource power with the knowledge economy." He stated that Indians are wealth creators all around the world and that the youth should be encouraged even more.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, among others.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, and Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin were among those who were present at the meeting.
