Delhi Election 2020: BJP's tryst with power in Delhi | Abp Uncut Explainer

When the Legislative Assembly was reformed in Delhi in 1993, the BJP formed a government under the leadership of Madan Lal Khurana. However, within three years, Madan Lal Khurana's name appeared in the Jain Hawala case and he had to resign. After that, Sahib Singh Verma became CM. But just before the 1998 elections, the party removed him and then came Sushma Swaraj. But the party eventually lost the upcoming election under her leadership and has not returned to power since.
