PM Modi's full speech at IIT Madras, says innovation will lead India to $5 trillion economy

India is aspiring to become a five-trillion US dollar economy and innovation and application of technology will help fuel the dream, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday.
"Today, India is inspiring to become a 5 trillion dollar economy. Your innovation, aspiration and application of technology will fuel this dream. It has become the bedrock of India's big leap into the most competitive economy," he said addressing the 56th convocation ceremony of IIT Madras.
The Prime Minister said that his government has worked to create a robust ecosystem for innovation, incubation, research and development in our country.
