Masks not mandatory in China's Beijing now | Ground Report
The Chinese authorities announced that the residents of capital Beijing don’t mandatorily need to wear face masks outdoors. The decision came almost four months after China started carrying out nation-wide quarantining measures to fight against COVID-19 on January 23. Although there are reports of new cases of infection in North-East China’s Jilin province the situation in the rest of China is almost normal. Normalcy has almost been restored in Beijing and only the cineplexes, theatres, gyms and game parlours are closed these days.
