PM Modi invites pvt companies in manufacturing of defence items

We've century-old experience when it comes to making arms and ammunition. During WW I & II, India supplied arms and ammunition. But post-independence, situation deteriorated, even for small arms we are relying on small countries. Today we're one of the largest defence importers: PM Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister said that India has made a list of 100 important items related to defence and these can be manufactured only with the help of the country's local industry.
