Modi Cabinet 3.0: Ashwini Vaishnaw takes charge as railway minister, briefs team | ABP News

After the successful completion of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, cabinet ministers are now taking oath one by one. The ex-Minister of Electronics and Information Technology has retained his fort. Ashwini Vaishnaw took oath as the new Minister of Electronics and Information Technology in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 3.0 Cabinet. Apart from the Information Technology Ministry, he has also taken oath as the Union Minister for the Ministry of Railways as well as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Vaishnaw is not the only minister to retain his ministry though. Apart from him, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Minister S Jaishankar, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, have also retained their ministries, as per the ANI.
