Ministry of Civil Aviation to allow more domestic flights
After one week of resumption of domestic flights, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has decided to increase the number of flights allowed to take off in the country. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced that the total number of flights allowed to commute will be increased from 33 percent to 55 percent. However, international flights continue to remain prohibited.
The move is seen as a part of phase-wise relaxation under Centre's 'Unlock 1.0' plan.
