Maharashtra Elections 2024: CM Shinde Slams Previous Government in Andheri Rally | ABP News
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde recently targeted the opposition alliance Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), referring to it as the "Maha Vasooli Aghadi". Highlighting the initiatives of the ruling Mahayuti government, he mentioned schemes like the "Ladki Bahini Yojana" and claimed his administration is committed to public welfare. He stated that funds for November have already been credited to beneficiaries’ accounts, and the December funds will be distributed promptly after the election. CM Shinde held rallies in Kurla for Mangesh Kudalkar and in Andheri East for Murji Patel. Addressing the public, Shinde emphasized that his government is dedicated to making Mumbai "slum-free" by providing affordable housing to the poor. He claimed significant improvements in Mumbai's healthcare system under the Mahayuti government. Taking a dig at the opposition MVA, Shinde alleged that former CM Uddhav Thackeray’s government used to engage in extortion. Criticizing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shinde said the opposition made promises to the public without intending to fulfill them. He accused Congress of making false promises in states like Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka.
