How has UP fared under 55-hour temporary lockdown
The 55-hour lockdown imposed in Uttar Pradesh came into affect at 10 pm on Friday, 10 July. As a result of the lockdown, only essential service providers will be allowed to step out of their houses. The borders between Delhi-Noida and Delhi-Ghaziabad have also been sealed and only essential service providers are allowed to travel through. Meanwhile, silent roads were seen across the state in Moradabad, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Barabanki. The lockdown will be in effect till 5 am on 13 July.
