Britain decreases interval between two Covishield doses to 8 weeks

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday announced that an independent public inquiry into the government's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic will begin in spring 2022.

 Another 2,193 people in Britain have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 4,446,824, according to official figures released on Friday.
