Apple cracks down on 'illegal' Chinese apps on its App Store

In a major move that is bound to hit the wallets of Chinese tech companies, iPhone manufacutrer Apple has decided to remove thousands of games from its Chinese App Store in July as a result of a policy that requires all paid games or games with in-app purchases to be licensed by Chinese regulators. According to a report by Analysis Group, the move will cost Chinese tech companies a whoping Rs 922 billion.
