After being denied a Lok Sabha ticket, sitting MP from the reserved northwest Delhi parliamentary seat, Udit Raj on Wednesday quit the Bharatiya Janta Party. After quitting the party, he met Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and joined the INC.
During the Press Conference, Udit Raj said that he supported the protest of Dalits against the government and hence he was not given ticket. He added that he would have been the PM someday if I would have kept quiet
