Business News: Sensex climbs over 250 points on buying in Reliance, M&M | ABP News

Equity benchmarks indices Sensex and Nifty closed higher on Friday as buying in index majors M&M, Reliance Industries and ITC helped the indices rebound from early lows. The Sensex gained 253 points to settle at 73917, while the NSE Nifty climbed 62 points to close at 22,466. From the Sensex pack, Mahindra & Mahindra, JSW Steel, Ultra Tech Cement, Kotak Mahindra and ITC were the top gainers; whereas TCS, HCL Technologies, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle India and Bajaj Finserv were among the top losers. "Indian markets again have continued their winning streak in today's trade as well all thanks to the positive global cues followed by good strong sentiments on the markets after the yesterday's closing about 22,300 on the Nifty. The sentiments were upbeat after Midcap and Smallcap indices have shown good buying momentum in the last days. Though the Nifty benchmark indices continued to consolidate in the narrow range but the major action was seen in the major sectors stocks in the broader market," says Market Expert
