The engagement, held at Ruby Hotel in the Gandhi Park police station area, was meant to be a joyous occasion. The bride, a Master of Arts graduate, was set to marry a man from the Quarsi area of Aligarh. But as the couple sat together on the stage, a woman stepped forward and attempted to lead the bride away, insisting they leave together. What followed was an emotionally charged confrontation that left guests stunned.

'Four-Year Relationship'
The woman, identified as Bina, alleged that she and the bride had been in a live-in relationship for four years. She claimed she had turned down three marriage proposals at the bride’s request, believing they would spend their lives together. However, the bride vehemently denied the allegations, leading to a charged-up atmosphere. Eventually, the police had to intervene.
Bina revealed that she and the bride first met at a coaching centre and later grew closer during a wedding celebration in 2021. Their bond, according to Bina, deepened over time, and they even discussed spending their future together. But as marriage prospects for both women emerged, their relationship took a tumultuous turn.

Recounting their time together, Bina shared how she had repeatedly urged the bride to be honest with her family. "When my family started looking for a groom for me, she asked me to reject the proposals. I listened to her. But when it came to her own marriage, she refused to do the same for me," she said as per News18.
Bina also made a startling claim, saying the bride had once attempted suicide, allegedly using her mother’s saree to hang herself from a ceiling fan. "Her last words to me were a plea to call off my marriage. Now, when I ask her to do the same, she refuses to listen. That is why I came here," Bina said.
Wedding Called Off
The viral video shows a few men even assaulting Bina after she barged into the engagement ceremony. The row between the two women stretched late into the night, forcing the police to step in. Ultimately, the groom and his family decided to cancel the wedding, citing the bride’s alleged same-sex relationship as the reason.
