Jaya Kishori, 29-year-old, was criticised for carrying a Dior bag which was priced at over Rs 2 lakh. She was filmed with the bag at airport and went viral over social media.
Spiritual preacher and singer Jaya Kishori was criticised after she was spotted carrying a Dior bag which was priced at over Rs 2 lakh. The 29-year-old, who preaches a non-materialistic lifestyle and detachment to her followers has now gone viral after she was seen carrying the designer “Dior Book Tote” customised with her name at an airport.
In the viral video, she is seen entering the airport with a trolley and a Dior bag, flashing a smile at those filming and greeting her. Although she has consistently promoted a modest and grounded lifestyle in public appearances and videos, her decision to carry a luxury tote has sparked backlash on social media.

Online Users Lashes Out At Jaya Kishori
As soon as the video came to light over the Internet, the use of leather by her compounded the hatred among the netizens. One of the users stated, "Cow hair and unbleached cow skin are also used in the leather products of DIOR company. From time to time big celebrities have distanced themselves from those brands which are involved in unethical brand manufacturing, brand promotion and practices. In such a situation, the storyteller who is immersed in the devotion of Krishna and tells people is using the products of the company which uses cow skin in its leather products."
The next said, "Wow, what a thing! On one side there is devotion to Krishna and on the other side there are leather products made from cow hair and skin.
