In the clip shared on Instagram by newyork__only, the man wearing a hoodie can be seen standing on the roof of train crossing a station at a substantial speed. At one point, the man loses his balance for a few seconds but quickly balances himself and runs in the opposite direction of the roof of the train which is still in motion. Passengers waiting at the station couldn't believe their eyes and started to take pictures and make videos of the man.

Though the clip was shared in September, it has continued to garner attention. So far it has gained over 3.2 million views, 155,009 likes and tons of comments.

A user on seeing the video raised concern and wrote, "I saw the body of a teenager cut in half on the tracks earlier this year on the Williamsburg bridge as a result of doing this. This isn’t funny or cool to do and I wish people would stop posting these videos."

"Bro thinks he’s the dude from subway surfers," wrote another user.

While a third wrote, "As long as they are aware of the risks I see no problem. They are out there having fun and the risk associated with the activity is what gives them the thrill."

"But it's ALWAYS someone else's fault if they get hurt or worse," commented a fourth.
