Man Takes Holy Dip At Maha Kumbh With His Dog, Wholesome Video Wins Heart On Internet — WATCH

Maha Kumbh 2025: A viral video shows a man taking his dog, Zorawar, for the holy dip at Triveni Sangam, despite initial plans to leave him at home.

The ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has been drawing huge number of devotess across the world. The Mela is considered as the world's largest religious gathering, where the devotees take a sacred dip at Sangam, the convergence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati river.

Now, a video has gone viral on internet and have caught users' attention. The video is about a man who took his canine friend to the Triveni Sangam for the holy dip. The pet parent shared the heartwarming video in a post on Instagram and said that the dog’s visit to Kumbh was not planned.

According to Vansh Chhabra, the person who shared the video, his dog, a beagle named Zorawar, was supposed to stay at home. However, at the last moment, Zorawar sat in the car and refused to leave. Seeing this, Chhabra decided to bring him along to the sacred event as he believed it was all meant to be. In the caption, he wrote, "Everything is written...Zorawar must have some karmic connection that brought him to Kumbh."

He posted on Instagram, "I believe every thing is written...& no plans of taking him with me he was going to stay at home & then he comes sit in a car & didn’t get out…& masoom sa face banaliya…then I was like chalo yaar isse bhi leke chalte hai...everything is written...Zorawar (dog) lska likha hoga kuch karam honge iske apne jo isko kumbh tk leke Aagye...Be kind. The post has garnered lakhs of likes and hundreds of comments. One user commented, "What a companion you had", while the other said, "Sweetheart this little fellow is. What a beauty!"

With over 48 crore devotees having taken a dip since the start of the event, the Maha Kumbh continues to witness an unprecedented number of devotees from across the country and beyond. The mega Hindu pilgrimage started on January 13 and will end on February 26.
