When thinking of Mumbai or Maharashtra, the one food item that instantly comes to mind is the vada pav that is arguably the most popular street food here. Buttery soft pav buns with crispy Aloo Bonda sandwiched in between them with spicy and savoury chutneys can make anyone's mouth water. Recently, Japan's Ambassador to India Hiroshi Suzuki on a visit to Pune tried the street food and shared a video of himself relishing it.
Suzuki was in Pune to attend an event and he decided to try the local cuisine from the famous Garden Vada Pav Centre. In the video, he can be seen enjoying the vada pav, which seemed a little spicy for his taste.
