Ever Imagined How Delhi And Kolkata Will Look Like When Covered In Snow? AI Images Go Viral

Artificial Intelligence (AI) art has become extremely popular with social media users, who often share a variety of AI-generated images on the internet that instantly become huge hit. Latching on to the trend, a Twitter user imagined how New Delhi and Kolkata would look like if they were covered in layers of snow.

Angshuman Choudhury, used AI to draw up snow-clad pictures of Delhi and Kolkata and post it on the micro-blogging site. In one of the post, the user has shared a photo of Delhi's iconic India Gate and a historical gate in the bylanes of Old Delhi covered in a thick blanket of snow. While the other photo shows the streets of Kolkata with trams and old-age cars.

"What would Delhi, both New and Old, look like during a heavy snowfall? I have always wondered. And now, AI helped me visualise it," the caption of the post read.

Since being shared, the post has garnered over 132k views, 2,059 likes and several comments.

"Kaash aisa ho jaaye toh bilkul mazaa aa jaaye ! How would Hyderabad Charminar area and Hitec City looks like during heavy snowfall ? It would be great if you send that too imaginative snowfall pictures," wrote one user.

"It may happen in our lifetime due to the climate change," wrote another showing concern.

"Damn! What if we actually see this in our lifetime? Yes, it looks beautiful but will bring in doom, not just the winter season but the incoming summers,' wrote a third.

"There’s just something so romantic about delhi," a fourth wrote.
