A heartwarming tale, of a dog rescued by a woman Laura a decade ago, just two days before he was scheduled to get euthanized has gone viral on the internet. After being rescued and coming to live with his new pet parent, the dog has been playing a crucial role in fostering kittens.
According to the post shared on Instagram by We Rate Dogs, the dog named Raylan has helped raise more than 150 foster kittens. Laura, loves fostering kittens, and after Raylan was adopted be her he "assumed" that it was also his responsibility to take care of the young ones. The post also mentioned that the dog wasn't trained but quickly learned how to do everything.
"His relationships with the kittens is adorable, yes, but it also serves a few important purposes. He’s giving them the comfort of a consistent parental figure, he’s helping them socialize, and he’s expanding their adoption resumes to be suitable for homes that already have dogs," the post further mentions.
