'Kyun Hila Dala Na': Netizens Flood Social Media With Memes As Earthquake Tremors Felt In Delhi-NCR
A 6.2 magnitude earthquake with epicentre in Nepal hit Delhi NCR and several other places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Tuesday.
Tremors hit Delhi and adjoining National Capital Region along with several other places in North India on Tuesday. The quake which was measured 6.2 on the Richter scale with the epicentre in Nepal lasted for more than 10 seconds and was felt in parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. "Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.2, occurred on 03-10-2023, 14:51:04 IST, Lat: 29.39 and Long: 81.23, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Nepal," National Centre for Seismology posted on X.
As the tremors were felt, people rushed out of their offices and homes and initial reports state no damage to life and property has been reported so far.

The national capital and adjoining regions fall in sesimic zone IV, which means that it is a high-risk zone prone to earthquakes.
