Bookstore Offers Discount To Boy Who Falls Short Of Cash To Buy Comic, Netizens Hail Gesture
"Reminds me of a similar incident with my younger brother, a reminiscence of the good old days," wrote a user.
It is often said that books are our best friend as they help us better our knowledge and make us more creative. Reading is also a hobby for many people and they love spending on books. But sometimes you may go to a store and find that the book you want to buy costs more and you are falling short of money.
A similar incident happened with a boy who went to a bookstore to buy a comic. The boy wasn't carrying enough money with himself, but the storekeeper did not ask him for the entire amount and gave him the book for the money he had with himself at that time.
Walking BookFairs shared the incident with the photo of the boy smiling on the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote in the caption, "A young reader walked in with ₹ 400 in his pocket, was overjoyed to find manga books in store, got disappointed that the one he wanted was priced ₹ 699. His smile when we told him he could have it at ₹ 400 made our day," they wrote on the microblogging website.
