Watch: Bihar Police Van Runs Out Of Fuel, Prisoners Push It Till Court. Video Goes Viral

One person said that the court should see the inmates pushing the vehicle as 'an act of kindness' before making the judgement.

In an unusual incident in Bihar’s Bhagalpur, inmates who were being transported to court for alcohol consumption found themselves pushing a police vehicle that had run out of fuel, on Monday morning. Rather than waiting for assistance, the authorities, in an unconventional move, had the accused push the vehicle to the side. The video caught on camera had of course gone viral, leaving netizens in splits.

When questioned about the vehicle’s sudden stop, a policeman mentioned that “it ran out of fuel”. However, when pressed further about how a police vehicle could run out of fuel at such an important moment he retorted with a question, “how can I tell you why the fuel ran out?”.

The driver of the vehicle, said that the car ran out of fuel and they had to push it to the side. However, he denied revealing who was pushing the vehicle.

Meanwhile a senior official, upon learning about the inmates pushing the vehicle through the media said that further investigation will be done in the matter. He said appropriate action will be taken based on the investigation and if any official is involved, actions would be taken against them as well.

While this action allowed traffic to move smoothly on the road and removed the possibility of any danger, a video of the incident started to circulate on social media, sparking humorous responses from the netizens.

One said,"It is like teachers asking students to prepare the question paper."

Another user said that the police should thank them for their cooperation. "Bihar police must thank each one of them for thier cooperation and not taking advantage of the situation to run away#Police se jyada imaandar mujrim#muskaraiye aap Bihar mein hain".
