Bear Crashes Wedding Reception In US, Eats Sweet Delicacies

The couple, high school sweethearts, tied the knot in the pouring rain and also had to add an extra plate for the bear.

An unexpected guest crashed a wedding reception in Colorado in US. Among the attendees at the venue was a bear that gatecrashed Brandon Martinez and Cailyn McRossie-Martinez's wedding celebration for some food. As it poured heavily outside, the bear raided the dessert table, eating all the sweet delicacies.

The couple recently got married in Boulder County and Martinez posted a number of pictures on her Facebook page of her wedding ceremony that took an unexpected turn as rain started to pour just before their ceremony and the bear suddenly made it entry.

She also shared some pictures of the uninvited guest and wrote, "Then a bear ate our dessert bar."

According to ABC News, the couple, high school sweethearts, tied the knot in the pouring rain and also had to add an extra plate for the bear.

Speaking to the news outlet, the couple said that the bear was quickly moved out of the venue by the security guards and nobody was hurt.

"It's not too often you go into your dessert table, and see a bear crashing it, eating all of it," said Martinez when asked about her experience.

"I think next that went out were the lemon bars, and then, the cannolis, which we were most looking forward to. Unfortunately, we did not get any," Martinez further said to the news outlet.

Since being shared, the post has amassed several likes with few people also commenting on it.

"If I had been walking in there, you'd have to scrape me off the ceiling. I'm so glad I already had my piece of cheesecake," remarked one of the user in humour.

Martinez replied by saying,  "No dessert for us! Haha!"
