As Part Of Anti-Hijab Protests, Iranians Knock Turbans Off Clerics' Head. Watch Video
Anti-Hijab Protests: Several videos have gone viral on social media showing schoolgirls and boys knocking on clerics' turbans and fleeing as part of the continuing anti-hijab rallies.
As demonstrations against the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, continue in Iran, young Iranians are now videoing themselves knocking clerics' turbans off their heads. Several videos have gone viral on social media showing schoolgirls and boys knocking on clerics' turbans and fleeing as part of the continuing anti-hijab rallies.
A small child can be seen coming up behind a priest strolling along a practically deserted street and knocking his turban off in one viral video. While the girl continued going without looking back, the priest was seen kneeling to pick up his turban.
"Removing clerics' turbans has become an act of protest after the dictatorship slaughtered hundreds of innocent protestors," the video's description said.
One of the girl says; in Iran mullahs behead and execute us if we say NO to forced hijab or forced Islam, we just knock their turbans to show our anger.

Following Amini's detention, the clerics who have ruled the country since 1979 have become a lightning rod for public ire. The continuous protests, according to religious leaders, jeopardise the security of the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, as the protests against Iran's draconian dress code began their seventh week, security forces opened fire on students who disobeyed a Revolutionary Guards ultimatum and the president's warning.
Another video shows a priest picking up his turban from the middle of the road.
"Removing the turbans of clerics has turned into a daily routine for Iranian teenagers," the caption stated.
These days I’ve been receiving many videos from inside Iran where schoolgirls & boys knock turbans off clerics as part of anti regime protests.

Since Amini's murder, students at many colleges in Tehran and other Iranian cities have been protesting for weeks. They have been yelling anti-regime chants and have allegedly been slain in violent rallies that have rocked the heart of Islamic governance in Iran.
