Man Asks Anand Mahindra To Buy His Company's Shares, Chairman's Reply Leaves Internet In Splits

Anand Mahindra, an industrialist who is very active on social media, regularly posts about trending topics and engaging stories for his 10.8 million followers.

Industrialist Anand Mahindra, known for his active presence on social media, recently had a unique interaction with a user who requested ₹1 lakh to purchase shares of Mahindra's company.

The user, identified as @R41534672 on X, responded to one of Mahindra's posts, stating, "Sir mujhe 1 lakh rs chaiye mahindra ka share kharidna ka liya (Sir, I need ₹1 lakh to buy Mahindra shares)." Amused by the request, Mahindra jokingly replied, "What an idea Sirji. Aapki himmat ke liye Taaliyaan! Poochne mein kya jaata hai? (I laud your courage, there is no harm in asking?)" accompanied by a laughing emoji.

The post garnered attention on the internet, with users expressing various reactions. One user praised the individual's entrepreneurial spirit, while another commended the level of confidence displayed. Some found it to be a brave move, with others remarking on the audacity of the request.

In a related incident a few days earlier, Mahindra shared an adorable video featuring a young boy named Cheeku Yadav from Noida. In the video, Cheeku expresses his desire to buy a Mahindra Thar, believing that both the Thar and XUV 700 can be acquired for ₹700. Mahindra, while sharing the video, humorously remarked that if his company were to sell the Thar for ₹700, they would soon face bankruptcy.

"My friend Sooni Taraporevala sent me this saying 'I love Cheeku!' So I watched some of his posts on Instagram (@cheekuthenoidakid) and now I love him too. My only problem is that if we validated his claim and sold the Thar for 700 bucks, we'd be bankrupt pretty soon," Mahindra quipped in the caption of the video.
