Hyderabad: After Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy demanded a probe into state Labour Minister Malla Reddy's land deals, the latter challenged the TPCC chief for a face-off in a public meeting on Wednesday.
Ahead of high-octane Huzurabad by-elections, Telangana politics is scorching with war of words between the ruling and the oppostion party leaders.

"Let's contest face-to-face. If you win, I will quit politics," said TRS Minister Malla Reddy while slapping thigh and using aggressive body language to challenge the state Congress president Revanth.

Revanth on Wednesday In a public meeting at Muduchintalapalli in Medchal district, demanded CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for an inquiry in minister's university lands.
Responding to Revanth's allegations of encroaching upon government lands for Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, the TRS minister said that the Centre has given clean chit about his land deals and have asserted that there were no cases against him. “Revanth Reddy alleged that I have encroached upon lands. He should substantiate his allegations,” He said as quoted by The New Indian Express.
Malla Reddy said that the state government has taken up developmental activities at a cost of Rs 62 crore at Muduchintalapalli. When Revanth Reddy arrived for a public meeting, local residents showed placard to not return to their village as there were no issues, he added.

Earlier, speaking on the ocassion of Dalita Girijana Deeksha, Revanth Reddy called the Telangana Chief Minister a 'cheater of Chintamdaka' (KCR's native village).
