Telangana With 2.5% Of India's Population Contributes 5% To GDP: Minister KTR

American automotive aftermarket parts provider Advance Auto Parts opens its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad on Monday.

Hyderabad: Telangana IT & Industries Minister and CM KCR's son, KT Rama Rao, said that the state has been developing rapidly and has contributed 5 per cent to the country's GDP while comprising only 2.5 per cent of the country's population.

American automotive aftermarket parts provider Advance Auto Parts opens its Global Capability Centre (GCC) here on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, Minister KTR said that Hyderabad’s growing technology talent has the potential to make the city the hub for automobile technology. He claimed that businesses like Advance Auto Parts are making the city their one-stop shop for all their needs.

KTR criticised the BJP government at the Centre for using the "double-engine" reference when talking about its achievements.
