Telangana: TRS MLC Kavitha Demands Centre To Roll Back Decision To Auction Adilabad Cement Factory
Former Nizamabad MP K Kavitha demanded the Centre to roll back the decision to auction the Adilabad Unit of Cement Corporation of India Limited.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC and former Nizamabad MP K Kavitha demanded the Centre to roll back the decision to auction the Adilabad Unit of Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI) because the cement business employs more people in the state.
According to a release, Kavitha also demanded the state BJP Leaders to answer the people of Telangana about the auction of the Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI) in Adilabad and privatisation of Singareni, and the selling of National Assets.
She questioned the Centre if they would reinvest the funds in Telangana or set up new factories to generate employment. She urged to answer if the BJP government is going to accord National status to state-funded irrigation projects or establish Kazipet Coach factory & educational institutions with the funds they are trying to consolidate through the sale of National Assets.
Kavitha Slams Rahul Gandhi
She also slammed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on regional parties. She said that the Congress party would become “tail party” in the country, and regional parties would take the lead. Taking a swipe at the Congress over its recent discussion on the revival of the party, the TRS leader said that, unlike the Congress party, regional parties have no leadership crisis.
"Regional parties have a clear agenda for people, Rahulji should understand even in Maharashtra they're in power because of a regional party there. In Maharashtra, Congress is the tail party, tomorrow it'll be the tail party in the country & regional parties will take lead," news agency ANI said, quoting Kavitha.
